So its been 8 years . . .

 So its been 8 years since I've updated this.  There are a couple of reasons, mostly being put on blood pressure medication that killed my attitude.  Part of it is, the fun at work has continued on un-abated.

Since the last update, the Stray Cat finally retired.

The manager I was reporting to left under a cloud.  She hired 3 different 'Software Engineers' that reported to her, that all were of her ethnic background (Russian Jew) and none were competent.  Someone pointed this out to HR and that along with her adversarial attitude toward other departments left her in a precarious position and she left or was let go.

Since then, we have changed from a Waterfall development approach to an Agile approach.  This is a tough transition to make under any circumstances, but ours have resulted in a fall off in quality and productivity.  But, I'll put that story out in pieces in the coming weeks, probably.
